Neglecting a duty and judging negligence

Compare neglecting inspections and keeping up reports with assessments of managerial or professional negligence. Distinguish the inspection condition from the actual cause of equipment failure.

Inspections and reports as targets of neglect

怠る means to neglect. presents neglecting tool inspections as a condition that can lead to a serious accident.

says he did not neglect reporting and recorded even small changes. Preserve the negative 怠らず rather than turning the sentence into an example of neglected reports.

What is assessed as negligence

怠慢 means negligence or dereliction. states that the manager’s negligence caused the equipment failure.

assesses leaving work unfinished as a dereliction of duty. It does not assess every brief rest or the person’s entire character.

The neglected action and the stated assessment

With 怠る, identify the action being neglected, such as an inspection or a report. With 怠慢, identify the stated negligence and its role as an assessment or cause.

The conditional inspection sentence differs from the sentence stating an actual equipment failure caused by negligence. A poor outcome alone does not supply an unstated negligent action or intentional motive.

say that he neglected reporting?

Show the answer and why
