撤去 and 移動: removing an installation and changing location
Compare removing an installed stage with changing location. Removal and movement can overlap without establishing disposal or destruction.
Remove an installation from its site
撤去, read てっきょ, means removal or dismantling. says that the temporary stage in the square was removed after the exhibition ended.
Read removal of the installation from the square. Its later storage location, disposal, or destruction is not supplied by the sentence.
Move from one place to another
says that everyone moved together from the meeting room to the dining hall.
This example concerns people changing location. 移動 can also concern goods, and movement may occur during removal of an installation.
Keep plans and requests separate from completion
says that removal of the old sign is scheduled for next week. It does not report completed removal now.
asks someone to use a cart to move the luggage. The request alone does not establish that the luggage has already been moved.
also establish that the stage was discarded or destroyed?
Show the answer and why
No. It reports removing the stage from its installed site. Later storage, disposal, or destruction needs separate information.
