Staff References and All Employees

Compare asking library staff where to find a book with a facility employee's guidance, a store employee's explanation, and training for all employees. Preserve overlapping employee terms and target quantities.

Staff at a library or facility

職員 (しょくいん) means a staff member or employee. — “I asked a library staff member where to find the book.” The inquiry concerns the book's location in a library, not a reported hiring consultation.

— “A facility employee guided me to the entrance.” The facility employee guided the speaker to the entrance. The example supplies no employment-contract category.

Employees in a shop or company

— “A store employee explained the product carefully.” The store employee explained a product, and the sentence describes that explanation as careful.

— “The company held safety training for all employees.” 全従業員 identifies all employees as the training's target. Do not reduce that target to only some employees.

Overlapping employee terms and quantities

These examples use 職員 for library and facility staff and 従業員 for shop and company employees. The contextual focus differs, while the people referred to can overlap.

One employee's guidance differs in quantity from training aimed at all employees. Read the stated organization and target without deriving public, private, permanent, or temporary employment categories from the term alone.

Do the facility guidance and the 全従業員 training both describe the actions of just one employee?

Show the answer and why

No. The facility example reports an employee's guidance; the training example specifies all employees as its target. Keep the scope of 全 rather than reducing it to one person or a subset.
