Eligibility and Licenses in Fiction or Class

Compare a qualifying-round attempt and qualification study with a novel character's license and fictional-license practice in class. Separate purposes, study, and fictional documents from actual attainment.

An attempt for eligibility and continuing study

資格 (しかく) means qualification or eligibility. — “I entered the qualifying round to earn eligibility for the tournament.” Earning tournament eligibility is the purpose of entering the qualifying round. The attempt alone does not establish that eligibility was obtained.

— “My older sister continues studying for a useful professional qualification.” Study for a useful professional qualification continues. The Korean certificate wording does not make every 資格 a paper certificate.

A novel character's license and a classroom document

免許 (めんきょ) means a license or permit. — “The protagonist of the novel has a license to operate a boat.” The holder is the novel's protagonist, and the license concerns operating a boat. Keep that possession within the novel.

— “In class, we practiced making fictional licenses.” The class activity was practice making fictional license documents. It does not report obtaining an actual license or real permission to operate a boat.

Purposes, study, and fictional document-making

The 資格 examples focus on an attempt to meet entry conditions and study for a useful qualification. The 免許 examples concern possession in a novel and fictional document-making in class.

Entering a qualifying round, continuing study, and making a fictional document differ from actual attainment. Read the stated settings without deriving real licensing requirements or legal effect from these examples.

Does practice making 架空の免許証 in class establish obtaining a real license?

Show the answer and why

No. It is classroom practice with fictional documents. The novel character's license is also a separate fictional setting, not a report of real licensing attainment.
