A Farmer or Farm Household and the Field of Agriculture
Compare buying vegetables or being taught rice cultivation with long-term agricultural work and climate impact. Preserve people and household meanings alongside the field of activity.
A seller of vegetables and a farmer teaching a method
農家 (のうか) means farmer or farm household. — “I bought fresh vegetables from a nearby farmer.” The English quotation uses farmer, while the Korean uses the farm-household expression. Preserve that range rather than restricting every 農家 to one individual.
— “A young farmer taught us how to grow rice.” The farmer taught how to grow rice. A method taught does not establish successful cultivation by the learners or a particular harvest quantity.
Work in agriculture and an effect from climate
— “My grandfather has worked in agriculture in this region for many years.” This reports the grandfather's long involvement in agriculture in the region.
— “Climate change also has a major effect on agriculture.” The statement gives a major effect on agriculture as well. It does not supply a particular region's output figures or a quantified amount or direction of change.
People or households and a field of activity
The 農家 examples identify the source of purchased vegetables or the person teaching a method. The 農業 examples refer to a field of work or the agriculture affected by climate. Do not replace the field with a person.
Keep the range of farmer and farm household. Likewise, a method taught is distinct from successful growing, and a climate-impact statement does not supply unstated harvest figures or proof of a specific regional cause.
What do the 農家 from whom vegetables were bought and the 農業 affected by climate each identify?
Show the answer and why
The first identifies a farmer or farm household; the second identifies the agricultural field. Teaching rice cultivation in the other example also does not establish the learners' successful growing or harvest quantity.
