休憩 and 休暇: a break during work and a period of leave

Compare a break within an activity with leave from work, without treating one person's leave as closure of an entire facility.

Resting within an activity

休憩, read きゅうけい, means pausing an activity to rest. announces that the lunch break starts at twelve.

says that the person returned to the sales floor because the break had ended. Read the rest period and return to work together.

Leave from work or study

休暇, read きゅうか, means leave from work or study. says that a week of leave is planned for the summer.

says that the leave schedule was communicated to colleagues. It reports sharing the schedule, not already taking the leave.

Separating the person from the operating service

says that the person responsible is on leave, but the counter is open. An individual's leave and an institution's operating status can differ.

indicates that a break is currently in progress. The notice alone does not tell you the return time, so check separate information if you need it.

Is the counter also closed in ?

Show the answer and why

No. The person responsible is on leave, but the counter is explicitly stated to be open.
