Considering alternatives and checking evidence
Compare reviewing options or costs with checking experimental results and recorded footage. Verification can reveal a time error rather than guarantee the original record’s accuracy.
Narrowing alternatives and reconsidering a plan
検討 means review or consideration. states that several options were reviewed and narrowed down to one. It does not additionally state that the selected option was implemented.
says the plan will be reconsidered, including its cost. Preserve the nonpast 再検討する rather than making the review or final cost already settled.
Checking experimental results and footage
検証 means verification or validation. states that the experimental results were also checked using another method. Preserve the additional method in 別の方法でも.
states that checking recorded footage revealed a time error. Verification does not always confirm that the original information was accurate.
A reviewed choice and an evidence-based check
検討 concerns considering alternatives or a plan including costs. 検証 concerns checking results or recorded content against evidence. Read the choice and the discovery of an error as the separate stated outcomes.
Do not reduce verification to repeating an identical experiment once. Finding one time error also does not establish that the whole record is wrong or that every other detail is correct.
If 検証 of footage reveals a time error, does 検証 always guarantee the accuracy of the original content?
Show the answer and why
No. This example describes discovering an error through checking. 検証 is an evidence-based check, not a word that guarantees the original content must be correct.
