一致 and 類似: matching items and similar features
Distinguish a match in a specified item from resemblance in some features. A request to check a number or a similar appearance does not establish a match in every item.
一致 concerns the item compared
一致, read いっち, means agreement or a match. 名簿の名前と身分証の表記が一致しない。 says that the name on the list does not match the wording on the identification document.
The sentence describes a mismatch in the name and its written form. It does not extend the comparison to every item in the objects or documents.
類似 concerns resembling features
類似, read るいじ, means similarity. 二つの案には類似した点がいくつもあります。 says that the two proposals have several similar points.
Several similar points do not mean all the content of the two proposals matches. Identify which features resemble each other.
A request is not a completed check
類似の商品と間違えないよう、番号を確認してください。 asks someone to check the number to avoid confusing the item with a similar product. It is a request to verify the number.
The request does not establish that the numbers have already been compared and found to match. Similar appearance and an identical identifying number are separate items to check.
If products look 類似, has their number already been confirmed as 一致?
Show the answer and why
No. Similar appearance and a matching number are separate matters. A request to verify the number is also not a completed verification result.
