A process, yeast, and maturation

Compare fermentation, yeast used in fermentation, and maturation. Follow the sentence role of 酵母で and the duration stated with 熟成.

A process named as 発酵

has the English wording “Leave the dough in a warm place to ferment.” The imperative concerns causing a process in the dough.

says a distinctive aroma develops as the beans ferment. The aroma is connected with that process.

Yeast added or used in a process

reports adding yeast to bread dough and leaving it in a warm place. Yeast is the object added.

says the drink is fermented with natural yeast found on the fruit. 酵母で identifies the yeast used in this fermentation.

Maturation and its duration

熟成 means aging or maturation. reports aging soybean paste in a storehouse for six months. The duration belongs to the stated aging process.

says long-aged cheese has a deep aroma. A fermentation process, yeast as its named medium, and maturation with a stated duration do not form a universal cooking sequence or requirement.

What role does 酵母で have in 天然の酵母で発酵させる, and does it make yeast necessary for every 発酵?

Show the answer and why

It identifies the yeast used to ferment this drink. This is the sentence’s stated medium, not a requirement for all fermentation or a fixed fermentation-and-maturation sequence.
