Observing a subject and deepening insight
Compare insight that reveals a cause or deepens through repeated observation with inspecting a leaf and recording results. Preserve reported outcomes without defining the words by tools or intuition alone.
Insight that revealed a cause
洞察 means insight. The cause example explicitly reports that insight revealed the cause, rather than merely describing an attempt to understand it.
(Her sharp insight revealed the cause of the problem.) Keep the reported result that the cause was revealed. Do not weaken it to an attempt or add completed resolution of the entire problem.
Observing a subject and recording results
観察 means observation. Inspecting a leaf's surface through a magnifying glass and recording morning observation results state a subject and an observing or recording activity.
(We observed the surface of the leaf with a magnifying glass.) A magnifying glass was used in this observation. Its presence does not make a tool compulsory for every instance of observation.
Repeated observation and deeper insight into a work
(Repeated observation deepened my insight into the work.) Repeated observation deepened insight into the work. This connects the activities without guaranteeing that every observation discovers a cause.
Compare inspecting or recording a subject with insight into a cause or work. Recording does not establish error correction or problem resolution, and insight is not defined as intuition unrelated to observation. Keep the separate cause, leaf, and work examples from being combined into one event.
What relation between observation and insight into a work is stated in
Show the answer and why
Repeated observation is linked to deeper insight into the work. It does not become intuition unrelated to observation or a rule that every observation reveals a cause. In the separate cause example, preserve the explicit result that the cause was revealed.
