Indicates a range at or below a stated quantity or level, including the stated limit.

Examples

荷物は一人二個以下にしてください。

Please limit luggage to two items per person.

この会場に入れるのは百人以下です。

This venue can hold no more than one hundred people.

Structure: Add 以下（いか） to a quantity or level to include that value and those below it.
Basic usage: 荷物は一人二個以下にしてください。 limits luggage to two items per person.

以下 and 未満
- 二個以下 includes two items, whereas 二個未満 does not. They differ in whether the boundary quantity is allowed.
The direction of the range
- 二個以下 means two or fewer, and 二個以上 means two or more; both include exactly two. 以下 and 以上 include the boundary but extend in opposite directions.
