Structure: Attach までもなく to a verb's dictionary form to present the following point as so self-evident that saying or explaining it is unnecessary.
Basic usage: 言うまでもなく、約束は守るべきだ。 means that, needless to say, promises should be kept.

Position compared with までもない
- それは言うまでもない ends with the judgment that the point need not be stated. 言うまでもなく重要だ uses なく to continue to the self-evident point that it is important.
