ごとき

A literary modifier that compares something to something else or refers to it disparagingly.

Examples

嵐のごとき激しい批判が会場を包んだ。

氷のごとき冷たい手に驚いた。

Structure: Attach のごとき to a noun to make a literary modifier comparing the following thing to it.

Roles of ごとき and ごとく
